Westland Kids is dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ , through age specific lessons , activities, and small groups, your children birth through fifth grade will learn biblical truths and real life application. MINISTER TO CHILDREN
Christi Richards
Christi has been a part of our ministry staff since 2001. As a Minister to Children she leads our Nursery-Elementary age children, AWANAS, and Chaplain to Katy’s ECEC and Berean Christian Academy. She and her husband T.J. grew up at Westland and continue to serve the Lord here in both Children and Youth ministries. Christi is a graduate of University of Houston. She loves exploring the truths of scripture & God’s Plan for all ages.
WESTLAND KIDS
On your first visit, just look for the Westland Kids Check-In area. You’ll be greeted by a Dream Team Leader eager to meet your family and you will learn how Westland Kids works. We’ll be there every step of the way right up to your child’s room, so feel free to ask questions.
AWANA
Awana is an international bible centered program for ages 4 through 5th grade children during the middle of the week. Our Awana groups meet up on Wednesday nights during the school year. The groups meet for 2 hours from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Parents are free to stay and volunteer or have a bit of free time. There is a registration fee during the beginning of the year for supplies and workbooks for the children. Please contact us to register or to volunteer for Awana.
